I settled on this one after trying out a couple of NAU's other winter jackets. As promised, the insular jacket is very water- and wind-proof, and yet is fairly light and comfortable (even in single-digit temperature). It isn't however a very slim-looking jacket, and the sleeves definitely run very long--works better if you are on the tall and lanky side. Some of the details also seem fussier than they need to be. Overall, a good jacket that strikes a balance between looks and comfort, even if it may not be the most stylish winter jacket money can buy.
